Turns out there's a very good reason Riskrunner (and it's spray-and-pray nature) was running dry a lot; it just carries significantly less ammo. They do the same damage at the same fire rate but Riskrunner gets 160 fewer bullets to work with. That's roughly 4.5 magazines worth of ammunition.
